💡 SaaS Idea: UnsubFlow – privacy-first bulk unsubscribe and inbox rules

Web app that connects to Gmail/Outlook and safely identifies newsletters/promotions, executes one-click unsubs, builds robust filters, and auto-rollups with auditing and no data resale. Team features for shared mailboxes. Competitors (and proof of pain): Unroll.me, Leave Me Alone, Clean Email; strong demand on AlternativeTo.

Why it's a good idea?

1. Problem & Existing demand

People’s inboxes get flooded with newsletters, promotions and transactional mail. Unroll.me became the canonical solution 10 yrs ago, but was caught selling people’s purchase-receipt data to Uber (2017 NYTimes report). Since that scandal, privacy-minded users keep asking for "an Unroll.me replacement that doesn’t sell my data" on Reddit, Twitter and Product Hunt.

  • AlternativeTo page for Unroll.me currently lists ±30 alternatives and >450 up-votes, which is high for that directory.
  • LeaveMeAlone launched on Product Hunt (2019) and reached #1 of the day; founder reports → $20-30 k MRR today – direct proof users will pay specifically for a privacy-first angle.
  • CleanEmail, Cleanfox, Mailstrom, Edison Mail, Gmail’s own "Promotions" tab all prove the pain is real and monetisable.

2. Keyword validation (via tool output)
