Why it's a good idea?

Problem

Consumers juggle 10-20+ paid digital (and sometimes physical) subscriptions. Forgotten renewals create ‘got-ya’ charges; many want earlier reminders and a clear monthly cost overview.
Conventional finance apps (RocketMoney, Truebill, Mint, Copilot) solve this by reading bank data – but they resell data or keep it on their servers. Privacy-conscious / technically savvy users dislike that.
DIY solutions today: spreadsheets or open-source tools that need manual install.
