đź’ˇ SaaS Idea: OnCallOps

Unified mobile-first monitoring hub that aggregates alerts (CloudWatch, Grafana, Sentry, PagerDuty, Statuspage) into one streamlined app with opinionated noise-reduction.

Platform: mobile

Why it's a good idea?

Market need / Problem

Software teams drown in alerts coming from many different systems (CloudWatch, Grafana/Prometheus, Sentry, Statuspage, uptime tools, etc.).
Pain points that appear over and over again in DevOps sub-reddits, SRE blogs and HN discussions:

  • “Alert fatigue” (720 global monthly searches, KD = 30)
  • “PagerDuty alternative” (480 searches, KD = 12, CPC >$50)
  • Threads like r/devops “How do you avoid/handle alert fatigue?” and “Do you have a strategy for dealing with 100s of alerts?” show dozens of comments asking for simpler, cheaper, quieter on-call tooling.

Existing solutions (competitors)

Heavyweight, desktop-first suites already exist:

  • PagerDuty, Opsgenie (Atlassian), Splunk-On-Call (VictorOps), xMatters, AlertOps, Squadcast, Zenduty, BetterStack, incident.io, spike.sh, etc.
  • All of them claim alert-routing + noise-reduction but are perceived as expensive / bloated (frequent “looking for lighter mobile-first alt” posts).

None of the above positions itself purely as mobile-only alert inbox/aggregator. They want to be the whole incident-management platform.
