đź’ˇ SaaS Idea: AIO Watch: AI Overviews and SERP Feature Monitor
Track when Google AI Overviews and other SERP features appear for your keywords, alert on losses/gains, archive snapshots, and correlate with traffic changes. Helps SEOs adapt content strategy to fluctuating AI surfaces.
Platform: web
Why it's a good idea?
1. Problem & Target User
- Since Google rolled out “AI Overviews” (formerly SGE) many SEOs complain that traffic, CTR and keyword visibility fluctuate overnight.
- Existing rank-tracking suites (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) can show whether a keyword owns a featured snippet, People-Also-Ask, video pack, etc., but none of the major vendors yet expose a dedicated column for “AI Overview present / not present” nor time-series alerts.
- On Reddit r/SEO the thread you referenced (and a handful of tweets) contain dozens of comments basically saying “does anyone know of a tool that tracks this?”—clear pain point.
