Writers of books, academic papers and long-form articles constantly fight with:

• Maintaining global context when a text passes 5-10k words
• Keeping track of supporting research, quotes and links
• Managing multiple draft versions ("v1", "final-final", etc.)
• Staying focused in an editor not designed for long-form (Google Docs, Word)

The idea: an "AI-native writing IDE" that (1) trains on the user’s private corpus, (2) holds arbitrarily long context windows, (3) auto-commits every change to Git-like version control, and (4) gives a side-panel "memory" of sources / citations that the LLM can reference on demand.

2. Evidence of Interest
