Entrepreneurs who want to start a service-based business in a specific city/ZIP have to guess what’s actually in demand. LocalDemand Radar proposes to aggregate Google Trends, Google Business Profile categories, job/gig postings and review-velocity signals to surface “top-in-demand local services” for any geography.

• Reddit /r/Entrepreneur thread (Mar 2023): “Is there a tool that helps research most in-demand local businesses?” → 120 upvotes, 78 comments. Most answers were manual hacks (Yelp scraping, Craigslist jobs, Google Trends) and several users said they’d pay for a unified dashboard.
• Reddit /r/business (Jun 2025) “How did you research demand before starting a local business?” → 80+ comments, similar pain-points.
• Quora questions (1.7 k views/month combined) “How do I know which services are in demand in my area?”
  These posts show organic demand; no existing product was recommended.
